Nyesom Wike Clarifies Loyalty Amid Defection Speculation

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has addressed rumors of defecting from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Wike clarified that his involvement with the federal government does not automatically mean a change in party membership.

Despite rumors and tensions, Wike reaffirmed his loyalty to the PDP. He also dismissed claims that his alignment with the APC during the 2023 elections indicated a defection.
