Nyesom Wike Reveals Governor Fubara's Return Plans After Suspension

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, addressed the whereabouts of Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara, stating that Fubara is ready to return to Rivers State following his suspension during the emergency rule. Wike confirmed contact with the governor and expressed forgiveness towards Fubara.

He emphasized the need to move forward and prevent illegality in the state. Governor Fubara is expected to return to the Government House in Port Harcourt after President Bola Tinubu lifted the emergency rule.

Wike revealed that Fubara is currently with his chief of staff and chief protocol officer. The situation highlights the political tensions and reconciliation efforts in Rivers State.
