Tinubu Commends Wike for Abuja Infrastructure Projects

On Tuesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu praised Minister Nyesom Wike for his outstanding leadership in transforming Abuja into a model for infrastructure development nationwide. This commendation occurred during the flag-off of two significant road projects in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), which include the construction of two service carriageways on the Southern Parkway and the Gaduwa district collector road.

Tinubu noted that Wike's efforts have revived abandoned projects and accelerated development across various districts, translating into visible progress for residents. The projects are part of a broader infrastructure renewal program aimed at enhancing transport networks and reducing traffic congestion.

Tinubu also emphasized the importance of the collector road as a vital link to educational and legal institutions, which will support economic growth. The projects are expected to create job opportunities for Nigerian youth and facilitate skill transfer.

Tinubu urged road users to cooperate with contractors during the construction period to minimize temporary inconveniences.
