Wike-led PDP Faction Expels Governors Makinde, Mohammed, and Others

A faction within the PDP led by Nyesom Wike has expelled key members, including Governors Seyi Makinde, Bala Mohammed, and Dauda Lawal, among others. The faction dissolved party executives in Oyo, Bauchi, Ekiti, Zamfara, and Edo states during a National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja.

Notable figures like Adolphus Wabara, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, and Taofeek Arapaja were also expelled. The expulsions were based on allegations of anti-party activities and ignoring court judgments.

The decision was communicated by Senator Samuel Anyanwu.
