Nigerian Police Deny Assassination Attempt Amid Land Dispute Tensions

The Nigerian Police Force refuted claims of an assassination attempt on Military Officer Ahmad Yerima in Abuja. Yerima narrowly escaped a high-speed chase by two unmarked vehicles, sparking rumors.

The incident occurred amidst a land dispute in Gaduwa District. Police spokesperson Josephin Adeh clarified that Yerima was involved in a confrontation with soldiers over a land issue, not an assassination attempt.
