Wike's Three-Year Transformation of Abuja Unveiled

Nyesom Wike, as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has led a transformative agenda in Abuja over the past three years, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the FCT's creation. His administration unveiled 31 landmark projects, including the commissioning of the Outer Southern Expressway and the construction of new judicial infrastructures such as the Court of Appeal complex.

Significant road projects have been completed, enhancing connectivity across the city and its satellite towns. Additionally, Wike's administration has focused on healthcare improvements, establishing a 20-bed vesico-vaginal fistula center and providing free medical services to thousands of residents.

The administration has also implemented financial reforms, including the introduction of a single treasury account to improve project delivery. The efforts reflect a commitment to urban renewal and infrastructural development, marking a pivotal moment in the history of the FCT.
