Wike working for APC, can’t decide for PDP – BoT member, Onyia

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees member, Ejiofor Onyia, has accused Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, of working for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) instead of the PDP. Onyia emphasized that Wike, who holds an executive position in the PDP, does not have the power to decide for the party.

The remarks were made during an interview on Arise Television's Prime Time show. The PDP recently zoned the presidential slot to the southern part of the country and ratified the appointment of Umar Damagum as the National Chairman.

Onyia clarified that the party's executive and constitution should guide its activities, and individuals like Wike cannot unilaterally make decisions that go against the party's rules.
