Wike Does Not Have The Power To Decide What PDP Does – BOT Member, Onyia

A member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Onyia, has stated that Governor Wike does not have the authority to unilaterally make decisions for the party. Onyia emphasized that while Wike holds an executive position in the PDP, he cannot dictate the party's actions.

This statement came after Wike accused the FCT Minister of collaborating with the ruling APC. The PDP recently zoned the presidential slot to the southern part of the country, a decision that Onyia supported, citing the party's constitution as the basis for such actions.

Onyia's remarks were made during an appearance on Channels Television, where he clarified the distribution of power within the PDP.
