Ecobank Launches Enhanced Ellevate Initiative for Women

Ecobank Nigeria unveiled its upgraded Ellevate Initiative, themed "Voice, Power, Growth," aimed at strengthening support for women entrepreneurs. The event featured inspiring conversations and practical insights from accomplished women in business and leadership.

Adenik Ogunlesi, founder of Gatimo and creative director at Ruff 'n' Tumble, praised Ecobank for its long-standing support, recounting her experience of securing a loan to grow her business when others had turned her down. She encouraged women to embrace self-awareness and resilience as drivers of long-term success.

Ayo Osolak, representing the managing director of Ecobank Nigeria, reaffirmed the bank's commitment to advancing women's economic participation, highlighting that the Ellevate Initiative reflects this unwavering support. Victoria Igun, a manager at Ecobank Nigeria, described the enhanced program as a strategic step to strengthen women's access to finance, markets, and networks, reinforcing the bank's role as a key driver of economic growth and job creation.
