Ecobank Alumni Reunion Focuses on Networking and Welfare

The Ecobank Alumni Association, chaired by Funmi Ogundar, held its second annual reunion in Lagos, where Gbenga Adimula emphasized the need for stronger collaboration among former staff to enhance networking and welfare initiatives. The reunion served as a vital platform for members to reconnect and explore professional opportunities.

Adimula announced the introduction of a comprehensive support scheme, including a recently launched welfare fund and a group life assurance package designed to provide financial protection in cases of illness or death. Members contribute N12,000 annually, receiving substantial benefits, including N1.5 million payouts and N900,000 for medical expenses.

The association also created a special fund for elderly members facing challenges in securing insurance coverage. Abayomi Adeyeri highlighted the importance of leveraging the alumni network for mentorship and career growth, while Kola Adeleke expressed excitement about the reunion, noting that alumni are integral to Ecobank's legacy and community service.
