Works Ministry Validates 2026 Performance Management Plan

The Federal Ministry of Works held a sector retreat to validate its 2026 Performance Management Plan and unveil a revised strategic roadmap aimed at driving the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The retreat, attended by key officials including Engr.

David Umahi and Bello Muhammad Goronyo, focused on evaluating the ministry's operational roadmap and aligning it with national development priorities. The retreat was designed to strengthen institutional planning and enhance performance evaluation across ministries and agencies.

Mr. Rafiu Adeladan emphasized the importance of the retreat in reviewing the strategic plan to improve the delivery of quality infrastructure projects nationwide.

The event featured technical presentations, including an overview of the strategic plan for 2024-2027 by Dr. Francisca Odeka.

The ministry aims to institutionalize a results-driven performance culture to support the nation's development agenda, with a commitment to achieving the 2026 performance targets.
