Pedro, who was not selected for the Brazilian squad, believes that Palmer possesses the intelligence and skill necessary for the role.

He mentioned this during a podcast hosted by Rio Ferdinand, where he discussed the current Brazilian squad under head coach Carlo Ancelotti. Pedro noted that Brazil's tactical formation does not traditionally emphasize the number 10 position, suggesting that the team operates effectively with a 4-2-4 formation.

He expressed confidence in Palmer's capabilities, stating that he sees no problem with Palmer taking on the role, despite the absence of a conventional number 10 in the current setup.
