Dembélé Scores Historic Hat-Trick for France at World Cup

On Friday, Ousmane Dembélé made history by scoring a hat-trick in France's 4-1 victory against Norway during the World Cup 2026 final group game. Dembélé's impressive performance saw him net three goals in just 32 minutes, making him the second earliest player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup match, following Erich Probst of Austria, who achieved this in 1954 against Czechoslovakia in 24 minutes.

This hat-trick was Dembélé's fourth goal in three World Cup matches so far. He had previously scored in France's 3-0 win over Iraq on Monday.

Dembélé, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain, will aim to lead France to victory when they face Sweden in the Round of 32 knockout stage on Tuesday.
