Rooney Urges Tuchel to Call Walker for England's Injury Woes

Wayne Rooney, the former England captain, expressed concern regarding the England national team's right-back situation after a series of injuries. Following England's 2-0 victory over DR Congo, Rooney suggested that Thomas Tuchel, the Chelsea FC coach, should reach out to Kyle Walker for help.

Tino Livramento was ruled out due to a calf injury, and Reece James, initially Tuchel's preferred choice, suffered a hamstring injury. This left England with limited options at right-back, prompting the call-up of Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah to replace Livramento.

Rooney emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating that Walker is capable and should be contacted for assistance. England's defensive struggles were highlighted during their match against DR Congo, where Harry Kane scored two goals to secure a 2-1 victory.

England is set to face Mexico in the next round of the tournament.
