Russian Model Goes Viral for Resembling Erling Haaland

Anastasia Kostromina, a 24-year-old Russian model based in Moscow, went viral after a friend pointed out her resemblance to Norwegian footballer Erling Haaland. The video she posted on Instagram earlier this month showcased her mimicking Haaland's trademark mannerisms and distinct facial expressions, leading to 6.4 million likes.

Kostromina, who did not initially recognize the resemblance, embraced the humor in the situation. She expressed her happiness about the video's popularity, stating it felt like a dream.

Meanwhile, Haaland, 25, a Manchester City player, became a social media sensation during the World Cup, scoring seven goals, including a double against Brazil in the last 16 match. Norway reached the quarter-finals but lost 2-1 to England.

Kostromina, who supports Norway, felt sad when they were eliminated. Due to the ban on international sports in Russia following the 2022 Ukraine offensive, she is not participating in the World Cup.

She hopes Haaland will see her video and perhaps laugh.
