SFH and OYOPHCB Promote Self-Care for Mothers in Oyo

In commemoration of World Patient Safety Day, the Society for Family Health (SFH) and Oyo State Primary Health Care Development Agency sensitized mothers on self-care. The initiative aimed to empower nursing mothers in child care and health interventions.

Various programs, including the Delivering Innovation in Self Care (DISC) project, targeted women of reproductive age for family planning and child safety. The focus was on reducing maternal and infant mortality rates in Oyo State through community sensitization and education.
