Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived at Joint Base Andrews on September 23, 2026, for a state visit to the United States at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, which will last until September 25. Upon arrival, Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan, received a warm welcome from Trump and his wife, Melania Trump.
