FERMA Begins Rehabilitation of Ilorin-Ogbomoso Road for Festive Season Safety

The Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) has initiated the rehabilitation of the Ilorin-Ogbomoso Road to enhance safety and facilitate smooth travel during the festive period. NEMA officials, led by Lukman Shola Onimago, stressed the significance of the ongoing road works in Kwara State.

The rehabilitation is part of FERMA's annual program called "Operation Connect Destin" aimed at improving the national road network, aligning with President Bola Tinubu's agenda. The efforts include patching potholes, repairing critical sections, and reducing road crashes to ensure a stress-free travel experience for road users, especially during busy festive periods.

It is crucial for agencies to complete the rehabilitation to revitalize the infrastructure and benefit residents of Ilorin and Ogbomoso.
