APC Develops Guidelines for 2027 Primaries Focused on Youth

The All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently developing guidelines for its primaries in preparation for the 2027 elections. The party is focusing on increasing youth participation, with approximately 50% of its members aged between 18 and 35.

Recent electoral successes include winning five out of six elections in the Federal Capital Territory and securing 80% of councilorship positions across various geopolitical zones. The APC is committed to enhancing internal democracy and transparency, having recently undergone membership audits and verifications with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Meetings with governors and party leadership have been held to address governance improvements at both state and local levels. The APC is also working to resolve internal conflicts and strengthen its organizational structure to better prepare for future electoral challenges.
