ADC and Pro-Atiku Group Shift Support to APC in Yobe

On Saturday, members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and a pro-Atiku group in Yobe State announced their formal alignment with the All Progressives Congress (APC). This decision was led by Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Jawa, who called for a transition to APC, highlighting the internal crises and legal uncertainties within the ADC.

The groups, including state leader Abubakar Garzali and state coordinator Ahm Adamu Juli, expressed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration. They acknowledged the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni for maintaining peace and political stability in the state, as well as for infrastructural development and youth empowerment.

The groups also declared their total support for Baba Malam Wali as a preferred successor for the 2027 governorship project in Yobe State. This strategic realignment aims to strengthen the political structure in Yobe State and respond to national realities.
