Mother Reflects on Heartbreaking Loss of Twin Daughters

The mother of late twin sisters A’ida and Hadiyya recounted her final moments with them, describing their deaths two days apart as a devastating loss. Both sisters were university graduates; Hadiyya, a medical graduate, had completed her housemanship and aimed to specialize in haematology, while A’ida, a pharmacy graduate, sought to deepen her knowledge of traditional medicines.

A’ida married in January 2026. The mother shared an emotional farewell with Hadiyya, who reminded her, “May God unite us in goodness,” before she tragically passed away while listening to Qur’anic recitation.

A’ida struggled with the loss of her twin, expressing her despair to friends, and returned home to offer condolences before also dying, attributed to emotional distress leading to cardiac arrest. Both daughters reportedly recited the Shahada before their deaths.

The mother expressed the indescribable pain of losing children, emphasizing their integral role in her life.
