Yobe State Shari’ah Courts Embrace Digital Transformation for Speedy Justice Dispensation

Yobe State's new Grand Khadi, Abba Alhaji Mammadi, announced plans to digitize Shari’ah courts for faster justice dispensation. The move aims to leverage technology to streamline court proceedings and align with modern trends.

The Grand Khadi highlighted the importance of using technology in the Shari’ah system to assist in resolving disputes and administering justice among Muslims in the state. This initiative is part of efforts to enhance the efficiency of the judicial system alongside conventional courts.

The Yobe State Shari’ah Courts, which apply Islamic law, will soon adopt digital tools to improve the delivery of justice in civil matters like marriage, divorce, inheritance, and family disputes.
