ADC Criticizes Tinubu's Government for Reversing Import Duty Policy

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticized Tinubu's government for reversing its decision to impose a 15 percent import duty on petrol and diesel. The ADC accused the government of confusion and experimentation, stating that the policy reversal showed a lack of decisiveness.

Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party's National Public Secretary, described the move as evidence that Tinubu's administration was unsure of its decisions and merely experimenting with governance. The ADC warned that the proposed tariff would worsen the economic hardship already faced by Nigerians.
