Olasco Films' Akeem Balogun Defends Against Actor Claims

Akeem Olatunji Balogun, associated with Olasco Films, has publicly responded to accusations made by actors Okunnu and Austin Emmanuel. Okunnu alleged that Balogun pocketed money from a movie produced 16 years ago, which he has not forgiven.

Austin Emmanuel accused Olasco Films of being closely associated with Toymax Films and claimed that Toymax had an affair with his girlfriend, Aisha Raji. In response, Tund Ola Yusuf, another actor, defended Balogun, labeling Okunnu and Emmanuel as ingrates.

Yusuf emphasized that Balogun had previously provided Okunnu with N2 million to support his movie production, which at the time cost between N700,000 and N1 million. Yusuf likened Okunnu's situation to a blind man who, upon regaining his sight, forgets the help he received.

The ongoing feud highlights tensions within the Nigerian film industry.
