Agbonayinma Challenges Melaye Over Atiku's EFCC Petition

Former House of Representatives member Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma criticized Senator Dino Melaye for his comments regarding the petition filed against former Vice President Atiku Abubakar with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Melaye labeled the petition as shameful, claiming it had been previously investigated and dismissed over ten years ago.

In response, Agbonayinma released a statement in Benin, urging Melaye to address the substance of the allegations rather than resorting to personal attacks. He refuted Melaye's assertion that he intended to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC), clarifying that he is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Agbonayinma accused Melaye of attempting to protect Atiku through personal attacks and stated that if Atiku had nothing to hide, he should respond to the EFCC's inquiries. He dismissed Melaye's remarks about his stability as childish and challenged him to present evidence supporting his claims about the petition's dismissal.
