Akwa Ibom Governor Threatens Action Against PDP-Loyal Appointees

Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Gov. Eno, has issued a warning to PDP-loyal appointees for attending the party's national convention, threatening drastic action within 48 hours.

Two appointees were sacked for flouting the order. The Governor emphasized the need for total loyalty and declared his administration's commitment to professionalism.

The new Head of Civil Service, HOC Elsi Anieti Peter, was sworn in, signaling a focus on improving the state's civil service. Former HOC, Elder Effiong Essien, urged appointees to see their duties as steps towards revitalizing the state's administrative structure.
