APC Criticizes ADC's Toxic Remarks on Tinubu's Birthday

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) condemned the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for what they termed a "disgraceful, toxic" outburst in a message related to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's 74th birthday. The APC's criticism came in response to ADC's remarks, which they claimed displayed bitterness and political intolerance, especially at a time when basic human decency calls for restraint and goodwill among political parties.

APC spokesperson Sey Oladejo issued a statement on Monday asserting that ADC's approach contrasts with the example of civility and respect demonstrated by the late former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, despite ongoing legal processes. The APC emphasized the need for ADC to focus on strengthening its internal structure to function effectively as a political platform, highlighting a decline in political maturity within the opposition.
