Lagos APC Slams ADC's Hostile Birthday Message to Tinubu

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) condemned the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for what it described as a "toxic outburst" in a message issued on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's birthday. APC spokesperson Hon. Sey Oladejo characterized the ADC's statement as a display of bitterness and political intolerance, particularly inappropriate during a time that calls for goodwill.

The APC noted that the ADC's actions reflect internal challenges and a lack of constructive engagement, especially in light of the recent passing of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai. The APC emphasized that the ADC's approach stands in stark contrast to the expected civil conduct and political maturity.

They argued that Nigerians deserve an opposition capable of offering credible alternatives rather than engaging in unproductive attacks. The Lagos APC reiterated its commitment to governance and dismissed the ADC's statements as distractions from its mandate.
