North-Central Forum Criticizes APC Chairman Over Governor's Party Switch in Plateau State

The North-Central Forum has condemned APC's national chairman, Nentaw Yilwatda, for reportedly obstructing Governor Muftwang's move to join the APC in Plateau State. The forum alleges that Yilwatda is behind the efforts to stop Muftwang from defecting from the PDP to the APC.

The dispute arose during a stakeholders' meeting where the Plateau APC leaders endorsed Muftwang's potential defection. The forum accuses Yilwatda of working against Muftwang's political ambitions and lacking an understanding of his role as the party's national chairman.

Saleh Zazzaga, the forum's chairman, emphasized that Muftwang's decision to join the APC automatically makes him a leader in the party.
