Kylian Mbappe Reflects on His Time at Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe, the captain of the France national football team, shared insights about his life in Spain since joining Real Madrid in June 2024 after opting not to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, where he played for seven years. In an interview with Diario AS, he expressed that he has found more peace in Spain and described his time at Real Madrid as a privilege.

Since his transfer, the 27-year-old forward has scored 94 goals and provided 14 assists in 110 appearances. He has also started the current season strongly, netting eight goals and assisting twice in seven matches.

Mbappe stated, “I believe that if you want to be part of football history, you have to play for Real Madrid.” He noted that adapting to Spanish culture has been a positive experience, although he initially felt strange without a home. Once he settled in, he reported being consistently happy in Madrid and Spain.
