“You Made This Happen”: Super Falcons Star Thanks Benue Indigenes for Support During WAFCON

Super Falcons star Francisca Ordega expressed gratitude to the people of Benue State for their support during the Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). Despite missing the final due to injury, Ordega played a crucial role in the tournament, including in a match against Algeria.

She also thanked Governor Hyacinth Alia for recognizing her contribution to Nigeria's victory in the WAFCON. The governor presented her with a cash prize and a fully furnished apartment in the state capital, Makurdi.

Ordega's appreciation post on social media received mixed reactions from fans, with some urging her to visit her village and the state capital. Benue State Director Anthony Torbundeh praised Ordega for making the people of Benue proud and serving as a role model.

Supporters, including Henry Akpenwuan, showed their support for Ordega and the Super Falcons throughout the tournament.
