Ex-Benue Governor Suswam Supports Tinubu's Economic Policies

Gabriel Suswam, the former Governor of Benue State, defended the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu during the PBAT Door-to-Door rally held in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State. Suswam acknowledged the immediate difficulties many Nigerians face due to these policies but emphasized their potential long-term benefits for younger generations.

He likened the situation to the growth of a child, stating that just as a child does not run immediately after birth, the economic measures introduced require time to yield results. Suswam referenced the successful economic strategies of countries in Southeast Asia, such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore, which have implemented similar policies and are now reaping benefits for their younger populations.

He argued that the future is being laid by President Tinubu's administration and that the criticisms of the current economic situation should consider these future advantages.
