‘Your Assertions Do Not Reflect The Position Of Our Party’ – ADC Fires Back At Datti Baba-Ahmed

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has responded to claims made by Datti Baba-Ahmed, stating that his assertions do not reflect the party's position. In a statement signed by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Jackie Wayas, the ADC clarified that the coalition with Baba-Ahmed's party is a collective effort to provide a credible alternative to the current administration.

The ADC extended an olive branch to Baba-Ahmed, acknowledging his respected voice and urging him to join the coalition. The party reiterated its mission to unite the opposition around a transformative agenda and called on Nigerians to support the task of rescuing the nation from underdevelopment.

The ADC emphasized that the coalition includes prominent leaders such as Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufai, David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola, Rotimi Amaechi, and Peter Obi, and is focused on national interest and providing competent and compassionate leadership.
