Matawalle, Yari Endorse Lawal for 2027 APC Ticket

In Zamfara State, former governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle and Senator Abdulaziz Yari have publicly endorsed Governor Dauda Lawal for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidacy for the upcoming 2027 elections. This endorsement was made during a welcome ceremony for Governor Lawal, which took place at the Zamfara Trade Fair Complex in Gusau.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, who leads the APC, was also present at the event. Matawalle urged the people of Zamfara to support Lawal, emphasizing that he is the only candidate for the APC in the state.

He called for unity and development, asserting that Lawal's return would foster these ideals. The leaders encouraged APC members to rally behind Governor Lawal as they prepare for the elections, highlighting the importance of collective support for the party's success in the state.
