Zenith Bank Women’s League Phase Two Begins In Ilorin, Jos

The Zenith Bank Women’s League Phase Two is set to kick off in Ilorin and Jos, sponsored by Zenith Bank PLC and organized by the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF). The second phase of the league's Atlantic Conference will run from August 25 to September 1 at the University of Ilorin Sports Centre.

Perpetua Clement, Chairperson of the Women Basketball Premier League, confirmed the federation's readiness to adhere to the schedule. The first phase in Benin saw defending champions Mountain Fire Miracle Ministries Basketball team and others like First Bank, Dolphins, and Bayelsa Blue Whales perform well.

The Savannah Conference in Jos will host the second phase, with Zenith Bank pledging continued support for the league's development. The Final 8 tournament is scheduled for Lagos from September 14 to 18, where the top teams from both conferences will compete for the title.
