Zinox and Konga Launch Discount Scheme for Military Personnel

Zinox Group, in collaboration with its e-commerce subsidiary Konga and the Defence Headquarters, has introduced the Defence Discount Scheme (DDS) aimed at supporting the welfare of serving and retired personnel of the Nigerian Armed Forces. The initiative will allow eligible military personnel to access a variety of products at discounted rates through Konga’s online platform, with the scheme going live on October 1, 2026.

The platform is integrated with the Defence Headquarters for authentication and verification of personnel. Senator Dr. George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, emphasized the initiative's significance in enhancing the Federal Government’s welfare framework during his keynote address.

He praised Zinox Technologies for its longstanding commitment to technological advancement in Nigeria. Mr. Reginald Obiakor, General Manager of Business Development at Zinox Group, expressed pride in supporting military personnel.

The launch event was attended by senior military leaders, including General Olufemi Oluyede and Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, and featured a live demonstration of the discount scheme.
