This rejection stemmed from their concerns regarding the legitimacy of his music career and the source of his wealth, as they questioned whether it was linked to illicit activities.

Zlatan expressed that their skepticism hurt him, as they prioritized their concerns over accepting the gift. He presented evidence of his earnings from music, including bank statements, to alleviate their doubts.

Additionally, in a separate discussion with Nandi Madida on Apple Music, Zlatan reflected on his music journey, which began after he failed to secure admission to university due to poor grades in mathematics. He emphasized that his new album symbolizes hope and aims to inspire others from difficult backgrounds, highlighting his persistence in pursuing music despite initial challenges.
