Ten Contestants Compete for N73 Million in MasterChef Nigeria

MasterChef Nigeria’s Cooking for Glory competition features ten contestants vying for a grand prize of N73 million. The show, which is the local adaptation of the globally recognized cooking competition format, will premiere on April 26, 2023, at 7 PM on Africa Magic.

The contestants come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique culinary perspectives shaped by their personal journeys. Notable participants include David Emmanuel, a 24-year-old content creator from Magboro; Demi Akingb, a 30-year-old entrepreneur and food content creator from Ikoyi; Derrin Nnonyela, a 29-year-old finance admin coordinator from Ikeja; and Fad Segun, a 29-year-old renewable energy expert from Lagos.

The competition aims to showcase the contestants' passion for food and their culinary skills, reflecting Nigeria's rich gastronomic heritage.
