MasterChef Nigeria Eliminates Two Contestants in Intense Showdown

In the latest episode of MasterChef Nigeria Season One, two contestants were eliminated as the competition intensified. Pearl, representing Delta State, faced elimination after her dish, which included pan-seared catfish and banga soup, did not meet the judges' expectations.

She became the first contestant to leave the competition. Following her, Margaret was also eliminated; despite her ambitious attempt to prepare egusi soup with semovita and sautéed spinach, her dish lacked flavor cohesion, leading to her exit.

Chef Stone advised her to simplify her approach. Other contestants delivered notable performances, with David impressing the judges with his egusi purée served with eba, while Derri struggled with overcooked fish.

Isabella received high praise for her kartoffelsupp, and Demilad's yam egg amuse-bouche was noted for its flavor. The competition continues, with the winner set to receive a grand prize of ₦73,000,000.
