10 Governors and Traditional Rulers Meet in Lagos to Discuss Effective Governance

Ten governors and prominent traditional rulers, such as the Sultan of Sokoto and Ooni of Ife, convened in Lagos to deliberate on the crucial role of traditional institutions in ensuring efficient and inclusive governance in Nigeria. The meeting was co-chaired by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, and Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye.

Notable attendees included President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, representing Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progress Governors Forum, Senator Hope Uzodinma, and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, Kwara State Governor Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq.
