EKSU to Graduate 10,959 Students at 30th Convocation

The Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Professor Babatola Ayodele, announced that the institution will confer degrees to a total of 10,959 graduates during its 30th convocation ceremony scheduled for Saturday. This ceremony will include the awarding of diplomas, bachelor's degrees, and higher degrees.

Among the graduates, there are 82 students who achieved first-class honors in their bachelor's degrees and 155 who will receive PhD degrees. The convocation ceremony also commemorates the 44th anniversary of the establishment of EKSU.

Professor Ayodele, who assumed office on August 20, 2024, emphasized the importance of the event in highlighting the benefits of education to the general public. The schedule of activities for the convocation includes a convocation lecture and the Vice Chancellor's award for excellence in research and sports.
