Hillside University Matriculates 170 New Students in Ekiti

Hillside University, located in Ekiti State, held its third matriculation ceremony on a recent Saturday, formally admitting 170 new students across 35 different programs, including medicine, surgery, nursing, medical laboratory science, computer science, cybersecurity, software engineering, aerospace engineering, economics, and mass communication. Vice Chancellor Iheanachukwu Okoro congratulated the newly admitted students, describing the occasion as a reaffirmation of the institution's core values.

He stressed the importance of integrity and excellence in guiding students throughout their academic journey. Okoro highlighted the university's educational philosophy, which focuses on developing the intellect, moral values, and practical skills of students.

He encouraged the matriculating students to remain disciplined and committed to their studies, serving as worthy ambassadors of the university. The ceremony also featured the administration of the matriculation oath by the university registrar, Merci Lyon, and included dignitaries such as Ishola Ganiyu and traditional ruler Michael Gbadebo Adedeji Arinwony II.
