Lagos Police Arrest 13 Kidnapping Suspects Linked to Shrine in Idimu

The Lagos State Police Command uncovered a shrine in Idimu where 13 kidnapping suspects were arrested. The gang operated by luring victims with fake investment schemes and holding them for ransom in the shrine.

Victims who refused to cooperate were defrauded and released. The police intercepted three suspects in Surulere using vehicles to pick unsuspecting victims, especially at night.

The gang targeted worshippers at mosques and churches in the early morning due to limited movement and low police presence. Efforts are ongoing to recover more vehicles used by the gang.
