15 Dead in Vigilante-Bandit Clash in Katsina State

On March 17, 2026, a violent clash in Falal Kadob Village, Jibia Local Government Area, Katsina State, led to the deaths of at least 15 people. The conflict erupted when local vigilantes confronted a group of repentant bandits, resulting in an initial exchange that left three individuals dead.
