Gunmen Kill Two in Benue Communities Attack

Gunmen attacked Akpet and Edikwu communities in Benue, resulting in the deaths of two individuals identified as Matthew Ochanga and Isaac Adanu. The Chairman of Apa LGA, Adam Ocheiga, confirmed the incident and mentioned that security operations were launched to repel the attackers.

The security situation in the Apa LGA area was reported to be under control, with efforts to ensure public safety ongoing. The Benue State Police Command, along with the Nigerian Army and Civil Defence Corps, were actively involved in maintaining peace and security in the region.
