Two Men Arraigned in Abuja for Alleged Car Theft

Ibrahim Mukarla and Kabiru Umar were arraigned in the magistrate court in Asokoro, Abuja, on charges of car theft. The prosecutor, Helen Ochai, informed the court that the matter was reported to the Jabi police station on February 3.

The complainant, Erinma Ochai, accused Mukarla of stealing her car while she was traveling to Ankpa with the intent to sell it. During the proceedings, it was noted that the vehicle was found in Mukarla's possession.

Both defendants pleaded not guilty to the two counts of conspiracy and theft. Magistrate Lami Sani granted the defendants bail in the sum of N50,000 with sureties.

The case has been adjourned until April 22 for trial.
