Man Charged with Car Theft and Police Obstruction in Ekiti

Lepe Ajibad has been charged with car theft and obstruction of police duties by the Ekiti State Police Command. The charges were presented in the Chief Magistrate Court in Ado Ekiti on March 3, 2026, by prosecutor ASP Akinwal Oriyomi.

The allegations include obstructing ASP Jeged Raphael and his team while they were performing their official duties. Ajibad is also accused of presenting a suspicious affidavit to change the ownership of a Lexus 350 vehicle, registered as ASB 883 AJ, with chassis number JTHCE5C21B5001008, which is suspected to be stolen.
