MURIC Rejects Claims of Christian Genocide in Northern Nigeria, Urges Against Misinformation

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has reacted to claims of Christian genocide in Northern Nigeria, dismissing the allegations as misleading and capable of inciting unnecessary religious tensions. MURIC's Executive Director, Professor Ishaq Akintola, accused Christian leaders of presenting a distorted narrative to discredit Muslims.

Sultan Sokoto Alhaji Sa'ad Abubakar III also rejected the claims, emphasizing peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims in the region. General Christoph Musa pledged military efforts to combat insecurity.
