NAN and LGAN Partner for 2026 Africa Golf Challenge

The Nigerian News Agency (NAN), led by Managing Director Ali M. Ali, has entered into a media partnership with the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN) in preparation for the 2026 All Africa Golf Challenge Trophy (AACT).

This event, set to take place from November 2 to November 7, 2026, at the IBB International Golf Country Club in Abuja, will feature 30 African nations and is recognized as Africa's premier biennial women's amateur team golf event. During a meeting at NAN's headquarters in Abuja, Ali emphasized the agency's commitment to promoting women's golf and ensuring accurate media representation.

He noted that NAN, established on October 2, 1978, remains Nigeria's primary news source with a vast network of 400 reporters across 36 states. The partnership aims to enhance LGAN's global visibility and strengthen Nigeria's image in the international sports arena.

Lami Ahm, President of LGAN, expressed confidence in the collaboration's potential to deliver impactful results.
