2026 Federation Cup Finals Set for April in Lagos, FCT

The final matches of the 2026 Federation Cup are scheduled to occur on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced that Lagos State is exempt from penalties following a formal request made last month.

Ruth David, the NFF's Director of Competitions, emphasized that the failure of other states to propose venues for the final matches has led to this arrangement. The matches are expected to attract a fine of N1,000,000 for states that did not comply with the venue proposal requirements.

The event is anticipated to draw significant attention as it concludes the national competition.
